Name the component you need before comparing water-tank listings.
Tank assembly, tank lid and filter holder can have separate manufacturer references, and a product titled assembly should not be assumed to include every accessory shown elsewhere.
Two tanks with different listed machines
Breville SP0024809 is the water-tank assembly listed for Bambino Plus BES500 and BEP501. SP0108714 is a brushed stainless steel water-tank assembly listed for Oracle Jet BES985. Their common purpose does not establish interchangeable fit.
Keep the full machine code and spare reference visible while shopping. A listing that says only “Breville water tank” leaves the important part of the decision unanswered.
Inspect the contents and color
A lid and a cartridge holder may be separate purchases. SP0022472 is a Claris holder kit, not a new filter cartridge. Read the included-items description instead of assuming that a tank photo supplies the filter.
Color references are grouped in this catalogue where the manufacturer lists the same model fit. Select the actual manufacturer color reference when ordering. Grouping the choices does not mean that a retailer may send any reference at random.
Check the leak before ordering
Record whether water appears at a crack, a removable connection or elsewhere in the machine. A tank listing alone cannot diagnose an internal leak. Follow the manual’s handling instructions, and ask support about damage or a leak that is not explained by a visibly failed removable part.
