The E8 ED instructions distinguish rinsing the milk system from cleaning it.

JURA calls for daily milk-system cleaning when milk has been prepared. Use the E8 ED/SD/INTD instructions for the programme and supplied cleaning container.

Identify the milk components

The ED 15749 specification lists an HP3 milk system and CX3 interchangeable spout. A tube, connector, spout and cleaning container can be distinct purchases. Describe the missing piece precisely when using a parts list or contacting support.

Do not pick a milk component using E8 alone. The generation and article number help separate machines with different arrangements. Keep any removed connector until the replacement has been identified.

Choose the product for the circuit

JURA milk-system mini tabs are identified as milk-system cleaner. They are different from the 3-phase tablets used by the coffee cleaning programme and from descaling tablets. Follow the dose and sequence shown for the actual milk-cleaning product and machine.

Use the manual’s dismantling and rinsing instructions when cleaning removable frother parts. Let hot components cool and reassemble them as shown; a loose or incorrectly installed frother can be unsafe.

Poor foam does not name the failed part

Record whether the problem started after cleaning, whether an error appears and which component was removed. Complete the permitted cleaning and reassembly checks first. If poor operation persists, send that information with the article code to JURA; a symptom alone does not prove that the complete frother needs replacement.
