Choose a Breville spare from its manufacturer reference and listed machine codes.
A 54 mm part is not automatically interchangeable with every other 54 mm part, and a 58 mm basket cannot be selected solely because a shop calls it professional size.
Compare two documented examples
SP0027237 identifies a 54 mm portafilter assembly with its own Works With list. SP0016051 identifies a 58 mm single-wall, one-cup filter basket for BES985, BES995, BES920 and BEP920. A complete portafilter and a basket are different items.
SP0025526 is a 54 mm shower-head seal. That seal’s documented fit cannot be transferred to a different seal because the same size appears in both product names. Keep the spare code next to the component description when comparing listings.
Retain production-date restrictions
Some official names contain a PDC boundary. For example, SP0110084 is labelled as a European precision burr assembly for pre-PDC-2538 machines. If a record names a production restriction, a match on the family model alone remains incomplete.
Ask Breville to identify the production code if the label is unclear. Do not remove the restriction from a search just to find a result that is available.
Check Sage separately
The references in this catalogue come from the Breville US parts site. A Sage machine with a similar family name needs a regional manufacturer check. Electrical ratings, revision and product naming can matter independently of the visible housing.
