Read the complete model on the machine label before choosing a replacement. Keep letters, punctuation and the final suffix: ECAM22.110.B, EP5447/90 and BES500 identify machines, while DLSC500, CA6903/10 and SP0024809 identify products.

A photo of the label and the old component is useful. Empty removable water tanks first and let the machine cool before moving it; follow its instructions when locating a label underneath.

Keep three identifiers separate

The model tells you which machine design you own. A serial number identifies your individual appliance. A spare reference tells you which replacement item the manufacturer lists. A shop asking for a serial or production code may be separating revisions of one model.

JURA adds another useful distinction: E8 is a family name, ED is a generation and 15749 is the article used on our documented E8 page. Do not replace all three with “E8” in a search.

A model match still needs a component match

A tank, its lid, a filter holder and the filter cartridge can have separate references. Write down the missing component rather than buying the first result for the machine. Pack quantity and color are additional choices after the component is identified.

If the label is damaged, use the original receipt or manufacturer account as a lead, then ask support to identify the exact model. A visually similar machine photograph cannot establish a fit.
