Philips documents AquaClean compatibility for the 5400 EP5447/90.
CA6903/10 is an official single-filter reference, although its checked US page is marked discontinued. A valid reference can help identify a replacement without proving that a current seller has stock.
Match the machine before the pack
Keep the full EP code, including /90. A reference for a 5400 accessory should be checked against the machine specification rather than extended to every product using the Philips name. The machine identifier and filter pack identifier belong in separate fields on your notes.
A bundle or twin pack can use a different suffix. Read the stated filter type and quantity and retain the actual reference printed on the pack; do not treat an unfamiliar suffix as confirmed solely because the photograph resembles AquaClean.
Installation includes activation
The AquaClean reference page describes activation through the appliance interface. Placing a cartridge in the tank is only one part of the process. Use the steps in the machine manual so its filter tracking corresponds to the installed filter.
Claims about a number of cups without descaling have conditions. The EP5447/90 specification ties that claim to eight filter replacements as indicated by the machine, with use affecting the result. It is not a promise that one cartridge lasts for that whole period.
Keep other maintenance separate
The EP5447/90 also has a removable brew group and LatteGo components. A fresh water filter does not wash those parts or replace the appropriate cleaning procedure. Use the filter answer for the cartridge decision and the care instructions for the rest of the machine.
